At KuKirin EU Distribution, we are committed to product quality. All products undergo a rigorous multi-point inspection at our Poland warehouse prior to shipment. For products not purchased on kukirin-escooter.eu, please contact your original point of purchase first.

1. Warranty Coverage and Duration

KuKirin provides a limited warranty for the original purchaser against defects in workmanship and/or materials under normal use:

  • Electric Scooter (Motor, Controller, Frame): 12 Months
  • Battery: 6 Months
  • Extended Protection: We offer an Optional 24-Month Extended Warranty for an additional charge at checkout. This extends the standard 12-month coverage for an additional full year.

2. Warranty Solutions

For issues covered under warranty, KuKirin will provide the following solutions at no charge for parts or labor:

  • Self-Repair Kits: Dispatch of replacement parts via standard post with installation instructions.
  • EU Service Center: For complex issues, repair services will be performed at an authorized center within the EU. No shipping to China is required.
  • Functionally Equivalent Parts: Replacement with parts as reliable as the original components.
  • 7-Day Replacement: If a major defect is reported within 7 days of delivery, the scooter may be replaced.
  • Cost Coverage: KuKirin covers all repair and shipping costs associated with valid, approved warranty claims.

3. Warranty Claim Process

Step 1: Contact Support

Email support@kukirin-escooter.eu with:

  • Valid proof of purchase (receipt/invoice) and Order Number.
  • Clear photos or videos demonstrating the issue.
  • A brief description of the problem.

Step 2: Assessment & Resolution

Our technical team will assess the claim within 48 hours. For minor issues, parts are shipped from Poland. For major issues, we arrange local EU repair.

4. Warranty Exclusions (What is NOT Covered)

To protect your safety and the product, this warranty does not cover problems caused by:

  • Personal Actions: Abuse, misuse, neglect, or accidents (e.g., dropping the scooter).
  • Water Damage: Riding in rain or through puddles/water deeper than 4 cm.
  • Unauthorized Work: Repairs or disassembly by non-authorized technicians.
  • Non-Original Parts: Use of modified or incompatible parts/accessories/software.
  • External Factors: Weather conditions, vandalism, or theft.
  • Normal Wear & Tear: Corrosion, tire wear, or damage from improper storage.
  • Manual Neglect: Failure to follow the user manual or improper handling by the customer.
  • Tampering: Products where the serial number or identification labels have been removed or altered.
  • Third-Party Sales: Products not purchased directly from kukirin-escooter.eu, including used scooters or promotional items.

5. Non-Warranty Repairs

For excluded issues (e.g., crash damage), the customer is responsible for all parts, labor, and shipping fees. We will provide an estimate for your approval before starting any work.

6. Extended 24-Month Warranty

Customers may purchase an Extended Warranty (24 Months total). This protection follows the same rules as the standard 12-month warranty but offers an extra 365 days of peace of mind. This must be purchased at the time of the original order or within 7 days of delivery.

7. Important Legal Terms

  • Evaluation: KuKirin reserves the sole right to determine if a defect is covered.
  • Exclusive Remedy: Your remedy is limited to repair or replacement as specified above.
  • Liability: KuKirin is not liable for incidental or indirect damages (loss of profits/revenue). Total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price.
  • Assumption of Risk: Use of our products is at your own risk. You must comply with local laws regarding e-scooter use.
